A travel log: tick off the countries you have been to and it draws them on a globe.
Something broken, a question, or a request:
We read every message. There is also a “Something missing or broken?” link on the Profile tab inside the app, which opens a mail draft with your app version filled in.

tripswipe is a travel log: you tick off the countries you have been to and it draws them on a globe. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
The app is operated by Click Boreal Unipessoal LDA (“we”, “us”). Contact us any time at board.olympusml@gmail.com.
Account details. You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address and password. We receive your email address, your name, and your profile picture if your provider supplies one. With Apple or Google we never see your password — the provider handles that. With email sign-in, the password is handled by our authentication provider and stored only as a hash.
Your profile. A display name, and optionally a bio, a home city, a date of birth, and a profile photo. All of it is optional except the name.
The countries you have been to. The list you tick off, which is what the globe and the map are drawn from.
Technical basics. The app checks for over-the-air updates through Expo Application Services, which receives your device platform and app version as part of that request.
Only to run the app: to show you your own countries on your own map, on this phone and on the next one you sign in from.
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
Only you. Your countries, your profile and your photo are yours. There is no part of the app where another user can see anything you have entered.
Your email address is never shown to anyone.
Some of the machinery for a future version — sharing a map with friends — exists in the database but is switched off, unreachable from the app, and no data is exposed through it. If that changes, this policy changes with it, before it ships.
Your data is stored with Supabase, our hosting and database provider, which runs on Amazon Web Services. Your profile photo is held in Supabase Storage. Database rules (row-level security) enforce, at the server, that only your own account can read your rows.
One caveat worth stating plainly: your profile photo is served from a public URL. The address is long and effectively unguessable, but anyone who has the link can open it without signing in. Do not use a photo you would mind someone having a link to.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists.
Nobody, other than the infrastructure providers that make the app run:
| Provider | What they handle |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, photo storage |
| Expo Application Services | App delivery and over-the-air updates |
| Apple / Google | Sign-in, only if you use that provider |
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Delete your account. Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, your countries and your photo. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
Change anything. Tap your name on the Profile tab to edit your name, home city, bio and date of birth. Tap a country in the Countries tab to remove it.
Get a copy of your data. Email us and we’ll send you an export.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your data — including access, correction, deletion, and portability. Email us and we’ll honour them.
tripswipe is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top, and note anything significant in the app.
